OPEN GYM (intended for travel players grades 5-8) Wednesday September 11th from 6:30 - 8:00 Location: CHS Field House Courts 3 and 4
*Please have your daughter enter and exit through Door 14. One of our Blast Board Members will be there to open the doors for you.
TRYOUTS: Monday September 16th and Thursday September 19th (minimum of 1 session; both sessions are recommended)

Travel team roster selections will be made by September 22nd with practices to begin the week of September 30th.
Please contact Matt Peterson you are unable to attend the tryout dates to make alternate arrangements.
Central's Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, Mike Carani, will be offering coaching clinics to anyone interested in coaching for the Blast. Travel team coaches clinic will be held in October, and Rec team coaching clinic will be held in December/January (times and dates will be announced soon).

We are excited to announce a new spring travel league for the Blast Program. Girls will play for 5-weeks (April thru May) against other Fox Valley Schools.

CONCESSIONS, SPIRIT WEAR, CAKE POPS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
There will be a 50/50 Raffle and "Chuck - A - Duck" to help raise money for the Blast Program and the scholarship in Lisa Pryor's honor.

The Burlington Blast Girls Basketball Program is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt not for profit organization for Illinois School District 301. The mission of the program is to teach, develop, and offer youth players the opportunity to learn fundamental skills and the game of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship in a positive environment.
The Burlington Blast Girls Basketball Program is a volunteer organization with an objective to build and increase a passion for basketball in the district through the successful operation of a model youth basketball program that emphasizes strong fundamentals, a positive learning environment, excellent instruction/coaching, equal and maximum opportunities, effective communication, and transparent administration.
Together, our players, families and volunteers work with a relentless drive to cultivate a safe and disciplined environment so that every child can reach their full potential, develop their talents and increase their skills and knowledge within the game of basketball and more importantly… life.
